shake it off

We all have problems. We struggle in this crazy world with the crazy people around us. There are three items that i love to read everyday… and it keeps coming back to me every morning especially in bad times of my life. Here they are:

1. No matter how bad your day can become, there will always be tomorrow to look forward to.

2. No matter how good things are in your life, there is always something bad that needs to be worked on.

3. Life is a series of problems: Either you are in one now, you’re just coming out of one, or … you’re getting ready to go into another one.

Not that I want to be pessimistic.. I am just being realistic. Things happen in our life everyday. It could be a long day for you, or a boring one yesterday. You could’ve been offended by someone today or maybe you have hurt someone’s feelings, knowingly or unknowingly. The thing is, while you live your life, you are touching someone’s life everyday, conciously or unconciously. People tend to brag about their problems everyday, but only few people that i know can shout “Praise the LORD!” for they have survived a day. Come to think about it, when was the last time that you have whole heartedly thank GOD for your problems? When was the last time you just shook off your problems and move on with your life? GOD doesn’t give you a problem. We did it to ourselves. We’re doing it ’till now. HE doesn’t punish us. Because inspite of all the things in life, in the midst of all the trials, there is always something that can make us smile if we only choose to appreciate the good things around us.

Humans, we are not here to sacrifice. We are not here to survive. Yes, this is reality. We are here to enjoy life. The sacrifice and punishment part is long overdue, thousand BC ago. We are here to share the goodness that HE has left us, we are here to enjoy HIS creativity. Just a reminder… :)

There’s nothing permanent in this life, change is the only constant thing that exists in our world. Problems are there, it is given. But there’s more happy thoughts to appreciate than wallow into a life full of sadness, bitterness and anger. Look! If you can’t have fun.. then atleast, don’t ruin other people’s lives.
